Dinners and movies are a must for couple but if you have been in a relationship for a long time, you might want to shake things up and go the extra mile for your partner.

If you’re thinking about doing something romantic with your partner but you don’t have time to go outside of KL, here are some amazing romantic activities you can do instead.

  • Have a drink over the sunset at HeliPad Lounge

Upgrade your normal dinner date by bringing your partner for delicious food and drink at HeliPad Lounge in KL. Set on the 34th Floor of Menara KH which is directly across Menara KL, it is probably one of the best spot to watch the sunset in KL area.

Our advice is to come around 6, have your dinner and stay for the sunset. Entrance is also free if you come around 6 to 9pm. Parking might be slightly expensive as all parkings in KL goes but with the view you are getting, it will be worth it.

  • Go for a Helicopter Ride around KL

Just dining on a Helipad isn’t enough for you and you want to take it up a notch? Why not take your partner on a Helicopter ride instead. The famous Christian Grey did it for her partner and it worked like a charm so it will surely work for you.

A 30 minutes helicopter ride can cost you a whopping RM2400 though but it is definitely a date that your partner will always remember or you can have a cheaper helicopter ride starting at RM 403 per person for 6 minutes – all you need to do is head to Helioutpost in Titiwangsa and get sorted there and then.

  • Hike up Broga Hill for a picturesque sunrise/sunset

If money is an issue, why not take your partner for a drive (and a hike) to Broga Hill instead. Broga Hill is located in Semenyih and if you haven’t been there before look for Rabbit Farmland which is the opposite of Broga Hill entrance or University Nottingham Malaysia.

Broga Hill might be secluded still but they have a huge parking and you might be charged around RM1-2 depending on if you are visiting it on the weekday or weekends. Our advice is to rise early so that you can reach the top just in time for sunrise.

  • Visit the place where the sky meets the earth at Sasaran, Selangor

As you can see from the picture above, there is nothing more romantic than enjoying a place like this – some couples even have their pre-wedding photos taken here. The only downside though is that this only happens about 4-5 days every month so you have to plan your trip carefully.

Sasaran is about an hour drive from KL and once you reach your destination, you will need to take a 45-minutes boat ride to the destination. There are a number of agents that can help you organise the perfect time to go like Sky Mirror Tours
